Today, we checked out the town’s new hot place to shop-the EMERALD showroom. Apart from the successful Red Dot Boutique and Mark and Marty’s, this is the owner’s third pride and joy, and the most expensive out of the three might I add. Hahah. EMERALD showcases everything from Red Dot apparel, to world famous Aranaz bags, Salabianca, Charles and Keith, Risque and a very interesting jewelry line made from crystals and healing stones called D’Luxe-brands you can only see here all around Laoag. Who else to kick it with than your sisters (yes in these cases I consider my mom a sister) and good friends?

Inspiration of the day

I love Mary Kate Olsen, Ashley is the prettier one but Mary Kate is the more exciting out of the two. I’ve always wanted to have a copy of their book Influence, since it came out but I’ve never gotten the chance to go buy one. She’s always ALWAYS on the worst dressed list in most, if not all of the tabloids but she has inspired sooo many looks its not even funny.

April has been such a blast, too bad its starting to rain. I blame global warming. I hope its sunny again before summer ends. I need more beach and more sun.

What is Kitsch? Its melodramatic, overdone, gaudy, its probably something your grandma gave you for Christmas. Its an art movement. Kitsch is so bad, its cool.

I went to school in Los Angeles, the melting pot of all that is weird, awesome, eclectic and different. Now I’m back in the northern part of the motherland, Ilocos, where the beaches are awesome, the trees are green, the food is exquisite, and the people are hospitable, positive and are very….bland. But every once in awhile something fun catches my eye.

I’m still getting the hang of wordpress so bear with me.=]
