Wore something laid back for some last minute shopping with my brother.

Tassel necklace from Éblouissant in a delicious shade of mustard yellow.

Some people don’t like mixing metals but I don’t mind mixing my golds and silvers.

This is my last entry for 2011. Thank you 2011 for the memories, the heartbreaks, the lessons and the oppurtunities. Another year is going to begin in a few hours, so to everyone, cheers to a new beginning.

Weather’s getting hotter and hotter here in northern Luzon as it gets closer to the end of the year. I love wearing jackets and layers but I actually prefer warm weather.

I got the sweetest Christmas gift from Sugar Kissed, two braided bracelets and a really long single tassel necklace (which I’m very excited to wear). My favorite has to be this blue and brown wrap around bracelet. It doubles as a necklace too! The other one is a chic braided black and gold hamsa-inspired bracelet with a red evil eye bead.

I think the maxi dress – leather jacket combo is very appropriate for a chic windy weather outfit for the tropics. 

My friend D, got me this pyramid bangle for Christmas. My always so sweet boyfriend got me the retro gold Casio watch I’ve always wanted!

When photographer Marianne Pasion asked if I wanted to model for Dei Cimatu’s accessory line I was so hesitant. I cannot stress enough how much I dread beauty shots. But since Dei was my cheetahlove, why the heck not?

All pieces from Éblouissant are hand made and each crafted with love. This is Dei’s baby and is getting more and more popular by the day. Some of her pieces are worn by, Lovi Poe and wait for it….Venu Raj! Designs get sold out fast, I was even lucky to get two of the tassel necklaces for me and as a christmas present for my friend.

It’s a little hard to wear a tulle maxi skirt without looking too dressed up, so I paired it with a pair of old chucks to tone it down a little bit. Wore this for lunch and an impromptu shopping date with D. We we’re running out of time and needed to get back to our jobs so we took these lazy photos hence my messy top.

The lovely ladies from Sugar Kissed gave me this necklace awhile back, and it works so well for printed tops!

Started this day with a photoshoot for Éblouissant by Dei Cimatu accessories, then headed out to La Tabacalera with my friends for the opening of Lacasa. La Tabacalera is a two-story commercial complex cooked up by the provincial government lead by Manang Imee that houses various businesses including this new retail store.PhotobucketPhotobucket

Here’s one way you can wear print on print. Pink leopard print and multicolored stars, print on print…on print if you count my floral print sunglasses!

I’ve always wanted a star print dress or top a la Chanel. I got this star print dress which I wore as a skirt from Folded and Hung a few years ago, it’s a simple sundress with an empire cut. It looks way better as a skirt :)
