It’s my birthday in the Philippines today, where most of the people I love is. I wish I didn’t have to have my birthday two months after I just left home. Though I do have friends and family here, it just doesn’t feel the same.

To kick off my birthday weekend, we went to They Abbey the other night and wore my new dress. These pictures don’t give this dress justice, the light feather painted print on it is ridiculous! I got it from Brigade LA, downtown. Small was already the smallest size available but I couldn’t resist the pastel colored feathers, so I just had it altered to fit.

Alriiiiiight a post I can tag to my work wear diaries category that actually looks like work wear :p

I got this top from Romwe and I love how everything about it is in moderation! The peplum cut isn’t as flouncy as regular peplums, the shoulders are padded but they don’t make me look like I’m wearing a box from the 80′s, and the light shower of studs on the shoulders is just looove!

I used to looooove the dirty ice cream they had in parties when I was a kid! I didn’t know they still have it in today’s kiddie parties what with all the cotton candy makers and chocolate fountains. This was so good, it had chunks of cheese and cookies.

I’ve always wondered how its like dancing on a pole? …with a pole? Iunno how you really say it because “pole dancing” is different from dancing by just merely holding onto a pole. But anyway, right before closing time when people started going out of the club my girlfriends and I took the chance to dance on the ledge, since we practically had the bar to ourselves. I usually have multiple bangles on but this amazing shoulder accessory I got from Bend & Snap is already enough to toughen up my outfit.

I posted in my twitter “culottes, whatchu know about that?” and my mom replied with “yeah, i know a lot about that. it made a comeback the year you were born when esprit ruled…@ericketan cullotes, whatchu know about that?” She’s so funny I love her! Hahah. I’ve been looking for the right culottes that fit me for so long. I found THE pair from Undernourished Manila. The length wasn’t really for my height so I had to have it altered a bit. Why do I have to be so tiny?

I love this Dior bag I stole from my mom’s closet, and these sling backs are my current favorite.

I have to disagree SNL: “The shapely fit that says you’re a mom, not a woman.”

Okay I want a lighter pair of mom jeans, its hard to find a pair that fits snug by the waist and loose in the bottom. With the wrong position this pair isn’t very flattering. Hahah. but whatever I love’em!

These Balenciaga babies are oldies but goodies, way before the whole gladiator thing started. I’ve been trying to look for the picture of Kate Moss wearing the same pair but no luck.

Here are some pictures I haven’t uploaded from weeks ago…

I already have decided on the g11 a few days ago but now I’m leaning towards the Nikon D5000. I read the reviews and its just too sweet, I know I’ll feel like I’ve been ripped off by the g11 if its only about 6,000 cheaper than the D5000.

Off to enjoy my bowl of delicious champorado. I hope you lovelies enjoy the rest of your day =]
