Slinky long skirts that hug you in the right places don’t always have to look formal or like you’re about to receive a Grammy. I like to pair this sexy, long skirt with a thigh high split, with tank tops and a pair of flats or sneakers to give it a more down to earth sex appeal ^_^

Yes, thigh high splits, for a lazy uneventful day. Doable.

Kicked off summer with a trip to the beach with my mom and my brother. I’ve been learning how to skim on and off for the past 4 years and I still am a big failure. Haha. But 4 major wipe outs to date wont stop me from trying

MAC’s Scarlet Ibis matte lipstick is a red orange shade that’s very summery. It’s one of those bold shades where you don’t look hilarious rocking in the beach. Haha. I initially asked for MAC’s morange but it was sold out already, so my friend Ishii got me this instead and I love it!! I didn’t even bother to hunt down morange anymore.

This summer, make a kimono robe one of your key staples. This lovely black robe was sent by the beautiful Karla from ZUZ Closet. I also have it in blue and candy color stripes that I’m so excited to wear for my summer getaways! I’m all about using the same things again and again but making them look different each time. You can wear it as a cover up in the beach, or wear it with a pair of cut off’s and a basic white tank. If you tie it in the middle you can even wear it as a top!

Eugene is all over Ilocos, riding on cement, sand or water.

Epic fail. Haha.

31st is always an all day family day, but I usually try to spend the 1st day of January with my boyfriend’s family.

I bought this weekender bag from Red Dot to bring with me to Cebu for February’s trip, but I was way too excited! This medium sized bag holds up so much space it’s incredible.

My first day of the year was great, except for later part of the night but that’s a totally different story. One down, 365 more days to go

Here’s one way you can wear print on print. Pink leopard print and multicolored stars, print on print…on print if you count my floral print sunglasses!

I’ve always wanted a star print dress or top a la Chanel. I got this star print dress which I wore as a skirt from Folded and Hung a few years ago, it’s a simple sundress with an empire cut. It looks way better as a skirt

A reader said I don’t wear enough pants, so for work I wore these old purple pants I dug in my closet.

Do you have maxi dresses lying around that you bought out of impulse last summer, that you never get to use? I do. I have quite a few. So why not put a sweater, a shirt or a vest over that darn thing and make it new! I’m a big fan of leg baring shorts but I’m willing to give them a rest for a few long skirts for the cold month of December =)

Pictures do NOT, at all give justice to this place. The Kapurpurawan rock formation found in Burgos, Ilocos Norte is just breath taking. I felt lost somewhere in Pandora with the avatars I swear!

I couldn’t bring much clothes to the shoot because we had to go through a short muddy trek. So I brought two maxi dresses and a vest, and was able to put together 4 different outfits for myself including the leopard-ish maxi Ivon wore for the pictures. Some of the pictures are edited by me. Will upload more pics on the next post ^_^
